Windmill Palm Transplanting, 1

We are transplanting two Windmill Palms or Trachycarpus fortunei. I miss spoke in the video when I said Chinese Fan Palm. It was quite cold that morning and my brain froze. The two Palms were in brick planters, The brick first needed to be chiped away then slowly the Palms were wedged out and hauled to a new location.

Thank you for your comment and advice. Where have you transplanted Palms? What time of year have you had the most sucess?

Nice palms. They transplant like weeds. I have moved many very large ones without any problem. The largest specimens I had to use a crane truck. make sure to keep them well watered after transplanting. Helps to hit them with a 5-15-5 Transplanter liquid as well. Cheers
